What is the Belmont County Caregiver Dinner?
Posted: July 28, 2017, 9:01AMEach year, the Area Agency on Aging Region 9 in Ohio hosts a dinner honoring caregivers in Belmont County, Ohio. These people may care or have cared for a spouse, a parent, a child, a friend. One caregiver is chosen to be recognized as the Caregiver of the Year. This year's dinner will be held on September 12 at Undo's in St Clairsville.
Dinner and entertainment are part of the evening. Door prizes are awarded. Local agencies are available to provide information on services. We hope to have a massage therapist giving our attendees mini-massages.
If you know a caregiver or if YOU are a caregiver in Belmont County OH, we hope you will join us for an evening out.
Do you know a Belmont County caregiver that you would like to nominate for Caregiver of the Year?
*The caregiver must be an adult who is providing care or has provided care for a family member or friend of any age and the caregiver MUST BE A CURRENT RESIDENT OF BELMONT COUNTY.
*The care cannot be job related (IE: hired through an agency or volunteer organization)
*Teh person being cared for may reside at home, in a facility or be deceased.
*If your loved one is deceased, the care must have been provided within the past two years.
Nominations must be received no later than Sept 5 to be considered for this year's award.
