What Are You Doing for the Holidays?

It's that time of year again! We shop, we cook, we wrap (or bag), we bake, we decorate, we address cards...the list is endless.
For those who are caregivers, the list may look a little different. Caregivers may need to modify the Christmas traditions.
Caregiving is stressful under the best of circumstances and adding in a lot of extra tasks can create a breaking point.
What can you give up? Maybe everyone on your card list won't get a card this year. Perhaps the gift will be a gift card. (Online shopping has taken some of the burden off shopping as we don't have to leave our living room!) Cooking the huge Christmas dinner may have to be modified. Delegate the food responsibilities. Delegate the clean-up responsibilities.
Perhaps it won't be like every other Christmas but perhaps new traditions will be discovered.
Have a Merry and Peaceful Christmas and Holiday season!
