How Does Your Garden Grow?
Posted: June 8, 2021, 12:27PMThere are many people who find gardening to be tedious, dirty, and work. Not in a good way.
Then there are those of us who find gardening to be tedious, dirty, and work. But in a very good way.
It has given me great joy to see the seeds I planted sprouting and getting bigger with each day. The young plants that were purchased are growing and will hopefully bear veggies in the not-too-distant future.
Gardening has given me an opportunity to be outside, enjoy the products of my labors, and work out some of the stress. I can also talk to my plants and nobody says anything. (I don't know if they are accepting of people talking to their plants or if they are afraid.)
There are several resources to help with your gardening. There are webinars, YouTube videos, websites, and printed materials. Check with your local Extension Office. Google the Old Farmer's Almanac.
Gardening IS tedious, dirty, and work. But it is so very rewarding!
