
How do you take care of yourself?
Posted: March 21, 2025, 8:39AMWe take care of our kids, our grandchildren, our pets, our parents, our grandparents, our friends, and we often care for strangers that need a hand up. BUT - how often do we pay attention to self-care?
You may say "I don't have time to take care of myself!". Actually, you don't have time to NOT take care of yourself!
Self-care is an approach to our well-being that encompasses our whole being: our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
Preventive health care such as vaccinations and annual exams, attention to our emotional well-being, and mindfulness of our spiritual health or a connection to something greater than ourselves. Self-care considers the interconnectedness of all parts of our beings.
