Have you been vaccinated? Don't get scammed!
Posted: May 18, 2021, 10:44AMOne of the scams making the rounds is the Covid vaccination scam.
You may be contacted by email or by text. The logos look like Moderna or Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson. They want you to complete a survey to get a prize or reward.
DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK.
DON'T CALL THE NUMBER.
DON'T GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION.
DON'T TAKE A SELFIE WITH YOUR VACCINATION CARD.
These scams are going around, and people are filling in their personal information (date of birth, insurance information, etc) which gives the scammers the "key to the kingdom". They can do a lot of damage with your personal information. Do NOT provide the ammunition that scammers need!
There are a lot of selfies with vaccination cards. If you want to share that you're vaccinated, use a frame or some other symbol that does not show personal information. Get a bracelet, buy a ball cap. There are a lot of ways to show that YOU are vaccinated and that you support vaccinations.
Stay safe.
