Are You Up to Date on Vaccinations?
Posted: August 10, 2020, 2:59PMWe're all concerned about a vaccine for coronavirus / COVID-19 and hoping that our researchers find the answer sooner than later.
While we are concerned about the current state of events, we can't forget our regular vaccinations! We're coming on the "regular" flu season. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your annual flu shot!
Did you get a Tdap vaccine (pertussis)? How about the Td (tetanus, diptheria)? Do you need these? Talk to your physician.
Talk to your doctor about the pneumonia vaccine. I just got mine at my annual physical. (About 50,000 people die of pneumonia each year.)
Have you had your shingles shot? There is a newer vaccine available that my physician tells me is a two-step vaccination. Talk to your doc about the shingles vaccine. (I was referred to my pharmacist to get the vaccination.) You don't want to get shingles!
Talk to your physician about your vaccination needs. Don't put off your needed immunizations.
